The apartment is especially fresh throughout the whole year – anyway it’s equipped with an air conditioning system.
The apartment is situated in the historical center right by Santa Croce Square and its church – well known as one of the most beautiful in Florence.
The area of Santa Croce is definitely one of the nicest of the historical center – not only for its monuments but also for the many little shops and restaurants which, especially at night time, make its alleys lively and enjoyable.
Santa Croce church is beyond any doubt the main attraction here – it hosts the tombs of some of Florence’s most iconic figures like Michelangelo and Galileo.
The big square which opens up right in front of the church is often location for special events, like the Calcio Storico (or Historical Football). In fact every June the stony floor is covered with sand literally transforming the square in an arena surrounded by stands.
